By and large, it was best base for sightseeing in Holywood, had much fun. The room was comfortable, good sized and had everything one might need. Helpful staff, especially the concierge.
-
The quality, good value. They had fire place in the lobby. They serve breakfast for 20 gbp per person per day...

The hotel feels very warm and welcoming, beautiful decor and grounds and staff were so polite and helpful very relaxing environment

We were attending a wedding and everything was fabulous
-
We thought that the staff were very thoughtful and friendly and were so pleased to be upgraded to a suite. This was ideal as we wanted to spend some time with family who live locally and who we do not see often enough.
-
We enjoyed the setting of the hotel, the grounds and the ambience which led to a relaxed and enjoyable break.
-
I thought that the breakfast served buffet style was very poor and insufficiently hot, certainly not 5star standard. No menu or choices such as kippers offered.
-
Culloden was quiet, relaxed - very luxurious. friendly efficient staff, very good facilities, eating drinking, walks, taxi service, maps of city avail etc. Room was fab, really enjoyed meal at Cultra restauarant, surroundings were lovely and relaxing

This hotel is the veritable curate's egg, good in parts. The spa is excellent and gives 5 star treatment in very pleasant surroundings, and the therapists are very capable and pleasant. The coffee was always piping hot. Breakfast was really very good.
Save for the spa, this is no longer a 5 star hotel. Pleasant but tired lounge areas, hard working but young and very inexperienced staff. We had an extremely disappointing meal in the 'fine dining' restaurant. Had the steak been twice as thick and cooked in a searing hot pan the meal could have been rescued, but as it was the half inch thick sirloin, tough and grey from being cooked in a warm pan for too long was a travesty, particularly at the prices charged.

We got upgraded to an executive room, which was excellent!
Spa facilities, pool area, jacuzzi etc could do with being updated. A bit old and tired looking compared to other places I have stayed in (eg the Slieve Donard!)
-
Friendly, relaxing atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble.
Choice of music in restaurant did not enhance the dining experience. Bring back the "old" unobtrusive background music!
-
The hotel had a quiet pleasant atmosphere. A good place to relax.
The shower was over the bath and a bit narrow. I would prefer a separate shower cubicle
-
Location, surroundings and the comfort of the room. The comfort of eating in the Cultra Inn service and food excellent and the staff both in hotel and Cultra Inn very helpful and friendly
-
A high quality accomodation set in a tranquil and beautiful location in close proximity to the city with a comprehensive range of relaxation facilities associated with the Spa.
I was disappointed with the arrangements for breakfast. While there were waiting on staff, their primary function was to ensure seating and the provision of beverages. Each person had to queue and serve themselves from a series of hotplates which for a five star hotel were not in keeping with expectations.

Gorgeous! Thank you for taking care of me when I really needed a good rest. The massage in the E'Spa spa was fabulous.
